Crow Wing River One Watershed One Plan (CWR1w1p)
The Crow Wing River One Watershed, One Plan (1W1P) Partnership has initiated a planning process to
develop a Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan for the Crow Wing River Watershed (see
attached map). This partnership was created through a Memorandum of Agreement between Becker
County, Becker SWCD, Cass County, Cass SWCD, Hubbard County, Hubbard SWCD, Todd County, Todd
SWCD, Wadena SWCD, and Wadena County. The purpose of this partnership and planning effort is to
create a watershed-based plan under the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources’ (BWSR)
1W1P program. The goal of using the watershed framework is to address water quality concerns and
protect resources throughout the watershed by planning and partnering across jurisdictional
boundaries.
