This kit is created from a variety of native species and is designed to fit a variety of conditions. Each species contains edible elements as well as many additional wildlife and pollinator benefits. Edibility is found in many forms in this kit. Fruits such as chokeberry, elderberries, serviceberries, nannyberry, mulberry, raspberries, and strawberries can be eaten raw or made into tasty jams, wines, and desserts. Nuts such as butternuts. Tappable sap from maple and birch as well as edible flowers and leaves for teas such as new jersey tea, bergamot, elderberry flower, raspberry leaf, spruce tips and more. Finally savory garnishes and cooking ingredients from the wild onions, garlic, and minty bergamot. Seed is provided through Prairie Moon Nursey.
