Description

The hackberry is a beautiful large native tree. They are commonly found as shade trees in boulevards or along riversides. They are well adapted to tolerate heat, drought, salt, ice, wind, and short term flooding. The are a fantastic resource for birds and small mammals.

They typically 50’ -70’  with a with of up to 50’. They are medium to fast growing and enjoy partial to full sun and tolerates a wide variety of soils.
