MNL partnered with the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources and the Lawns to Legumes program to design pollinator gardens to help create habitat for the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee.  Our Rusty Patched Bumble Bee Kit is designed for sunny spots.

This garden is for creating a pollinator garden within a yard and is a perfect fit for the Native Pocket Plantings in the Lawns to Legumes program. Consider planting in areas with mesic soil in areas with large amounts of direct sunlight. We designed this collection to have flowering species in all of the bloom seasons and to contain flowers that are of high priority and “superfoods” for the Rusty Patched Bumble Bee. We suggest planting these gardens in a 40-60 square foot area.

Rusty Patched Bumble Bee Gardens come with 36 plugs, six plants of six different species.
